When you see the word RED printed in blue ink, your brain has to fight itself to say "blue." The reading part of your brain wants to read. The colour part wants to win. They argue. You lose.

That fight is called the Stroop Effect. Every card in F**k. The Game weaponises it. You've got a split second. You're tired. You've had two drinks. Your mate is screaming the answer. And the word "RED" is sitting there in blue ink, daring you.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

STEP 1.
Each player will have a handful of cards containing a tricky combination of swear words and colours.

STEP 2.
You take turns drawing a card off the top and placing it in a central pile, only the player will yell out the correct answer based of a few simple but tricky rules.
(See 4 rules below)

STEP 3.
Get it wrong (or take too long to answer), players slap the deck and you're lumped with the cards, get it right and you have now lost that card.

STEP 4.
The winner is the first to lose all of their cards

Nope. CAH is fill-in-the-blank. This is a reflex game. Your brain physically can't process what's on the card fast enough — that's the whole joke.

Can I play with only 2 people?
Yeah. Works great with 2. Honestly some of the funniest games are 1-on-1 because there's nowhere to hide.

How long does a game take?
15 to 30 minutes. One round is 60 seconds. Play one round between courses at dinner or forty rounds and lose your evening. Up to you.
